| Regency Lady's Chair | ||
|
The Regency Lady's Chair has generous wings offering
secure comfort to the sitter. The finely turned legs are in a style
fashionable at the very end of the 18th century and during the early
years of the 19th century. The chair evokes a spirit of gentility reminiscent
of that period
Jane Austen would have been quite at home nestled
within it. Old fashioned hessian and jute webbing are just some of the
materials employed in the upholstery of the handmade frame. The seat
is coil sprung with no less than nine 4" springs carefully hand
stitched in position to assure maximum comfort. Onto this, place a feather
and down filled cushion and the look and feel are complete.
Offered in our very special hand polished russet hide, fabrics from our extensive collection or customer's own material. |
